The Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) has now launched IHI – calls 1 and 2

IHI – call 1 is a single-stage call for proposals with the following topics:

• Topic 1: An innovative decision-support system for improved care pathways for patients with neurodegenerative diseases and comorbidities

• Topic 2: Next generation imaging and image-guided diagnosis and therapy for cancer

• Topic 3: Personalised oncology: innovative people centred, multi-modal therapies against cancer

• Topic 4: Access and integration of heterogeneous health data for improved healthcare in disease areas of high unmet public health need

Deadline for full proposals: 20 September 2022

IHI – call 2 is a two-stage call for proposals with the following topics:

• Topic 1: Cardiovascular diseases - improved prediction, prevention, diagnosis, and monitoring

• Topic 2: Setting up a harmonised methodology to promote uptake of early feasibility studies for clinical and innovation excellence in the European Union

IHI ran webinars on IHI – calls 1 and 2, including webinars on all call topics, as well as IHI’s rules and procedures and the financial aspects of completing a proposal.

Applicants can use the website of our brokerage event until 15 July to schedule brokerage meetings and until 20 September to register as an active participant to find partners. You can also find potential partners via the lists of participants from our webinars.

Calls for EoI for the new Mission Boards, IHI JU and EDCTP3 JU // EU funded pre-commercial procurement INCAREHEART

1. The Innovative Health Initiative Joint Undertaking (IHI JU) is looking for members of its scientific advisory body, the Science and Innovation Panel.

Candidates are sought in two categories: Representatives of the scientific community, including technology research,

Representatives of stakeholders involved in health care, such as patients, health care professionals, health care providers, regulatory bodies, health technology assessment bodies and health care payers. The call for expression of interest to select members is now open until 21 February 2022. 2. The Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking (GH EDCTP3 JU) is looking for members for its Scientific Committee. The call for expression of interest for the selection of the members of the Scientific Committee is open now and will close on 15 February 2022. 3. The call for Expressions of Interest for the new Mission Boards has been published on 5 January. The Commission has provided a News Alert https://ec.europa.eu/info/news/commission-looking-top-experts-advise-eu-missions-2022-jan-05_en and social media to publicise the call. Deadline for the call is 2 February 2022 at 17.00.

4. The EU funded pre-commercial procurement INCAREHEART published its call for Tender

It invites all interested market actors to submit tenders for R&D services which develop original and innovative solutions for provision of effective and efficient integrated heart failure management, supporting patients in a person-centred way across the continuum of care and support. The Call for Tender is published on the project’s website and is also advertised via the EU official channel Tender Electronic Daily. Interested market actors must submit the completed Tender Submission Forms in pdf. format to suppliersincareheart@regionjh.se by 7 April 2022, 15:00 CET.
