Kaloyan Ratchev was born in Bulgaria but grew up in Austria, where he currently lives. He graduated in Sociology and Economics in Vienna. He’s been working in the field of innovation for 15 years. Kaloyan strives to promote Bulgaria through his work at Vangavis, by helping Bulgarian entrepreneurs to expand their business - mainly to the German-speaking countries. He also directs international partners, investors, and projects to Bulgaria.

Kaloyan is the founder of the innovation company Vangavis.com In addition, he participates in Trending Topics, the leading online media in the field of business and technology in Austria, which also expanded to the Bulgarian market this year. Kaloyan is one of the founders of the Bulgarian Fintech Association, as well as a representative of the Bulgarian Start-up Association (BESCO) in Austria.

Valentin Manev, CFA

Valentin Manev is a financial advisor with over fifteen years of progressive valuation and investment analysis experience for privately held companies and real estate investments. His background in different industries helps him to deal with various kinds of companies and to understand the economics behind their business models. He has experience in subjects that include investment tools, asset valuation, portfolio management, and the application of ethical and professional standards in the investment industry. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Economics in Varna/Bulgaria. In 2001 he received his certification as a valuer of private companies and was registered at the Chamber of Independent Valuers in Bulgaria. From 2015 he is a Chartered Financial Analyst®, a member of the CFA Institute and holds an investment consultant license, issued by the Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission. His activities include financial modelling, risk modelling, optimization, private equity and debt valuation.

Yavor Arnaudov

Yavor Arnaudov is incurably curious and passionate about reducing the distance between academia and industry. He has received his PhD in Physics from the University of Warwick and has since worked on developing and pushing to the market industrial IoT solutions for the marine sector. He has worked actively towards improving the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Varna and has helped the local community through multiple projects. His interests lay between brain-computer interfaces, wearable electronics and remote monitoring.

Miryana Atanasova

Miryana Atanasova has received her MA in International Relations in Sofia University, and since has specialized Globalization Studies and Antiterrorism as part of post-graduate programs in USA. With more than 10 years of technical project management experience in the ITC sector and a number of additional specializations (ITIL v2 Master, ITIL v3 Expert, ITSA, etc.), she now manages the Program Management Office (PMO) at the Health & Life Sciences Cluster Bulgaria.
